What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors of Westways Primary School are seeking to appoint a reliable and motivated Lunchtime Supervisor who is looking to join our fantastic school community. The right candidate will be required to supervise children of different ages during lunchtimes. Duties will be either in the dining room, on the playground or inside the school buildings.
We are looking for someone who:
• Develops and maintains high standards to ensure the welfare of the children at all times
• Encourages children to play well together and have fun
• Has excellent communication skills
• Shows initiative and the ability to use judgement and common sense
• Works flexibly within a supportive and committed team
• Can form positive and caring relationships with children
• Is a team player who is willing to contribute to the ethos and wider community of the school, including maintaining confidentiality
• Has a sense of humour, combined with energy and enthusiasm
