About the Role
As a Class 1 Driver, you will:
- Taking on the challenge of collecting and delivering specialist MHE (Mechanical Handling Equipment) and accessories on behalf of our client.
- This position will also include providing coverage for additional contracts based in Cullompton, as required by operation demands.
- Engaging with clients through direct in-person interactions and telephone communications to deliver high quality service and support.
- Utilising handheld devices to accurately record and monitor daily workload activities.
- Keep in constant contact with the transport team, offering updates on your progress and ensuring our customers' expectations are consistently met.
- Experience the thrill of nights away, making each journey unique and fulfilling.
- Engage in regular training sessions to stay updated with the latest industry standards and best practices, continuously improving your skills.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence, ready to take on the open road with confidence.
- Due to the nature of the role, a valid forklift license is required. However, if you do not currently hold one, training and certification will be provided by our in house training team.
- Possess a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card, ensuring you're always compliant and prepared.
