Summary of the role
An exciting opportunity has come available for Compliance Monitoring Manager to join the Governance function at Diligenta.
In this role, you will lead the compliance monitoring of key client accounts, ensuring that Diligenta consistently meets its regulatory obligations and delivers services in full alignment with FCA rules, principles, and expectations.
You'll play a critical part in safeguarding customer outcomes, driving a strong compliance culture, and shaping the ongoing development of our monitoring framework.

What you'll be doing
- Advising and supporting the Audit & Compliance Committee, Executive Management Team, and clients on the effectiveness of regulatory compliance within the business.
- Developing and delivering annual risk-based compliance monitoring plans in line with contractual obligations and client agreements.
- Leading and managing compliance staff to support delivery of strategic business objectives and ensure team effectiveness.
- Overseeing and executing the Compliance Monitoring Plan to provide assurance on regulatory compliance and customer outcomes within set timescales.
- Ensuring and maintaining high standards of quality and timeliness in compliance reviews and agreeing effective remedial actions with stakeholders.
- Driving and contributing to the continuous improvement of compliance monitoring approaches in response to regulatory developments and client expectations.
- Promoting and embedding a strong compliance culture through leadership, training, development, and performance management.
- Building and managing relationships with stakeholders and representing Compliance at internal and external governance forums to ensure regulatory requirements are understood and met.
What we're looking for
- Strong knowledge of FCA, DPA, and AML regulations related to UK Life & Pensions, along with compliance policies, SLAs, and governance frameworks.
- Extensive operational experience in financial services, government bodies, or related industries.
- Proven analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to evaluate BAU issues and propose effective solutions.
- Experienced in managing compliance teams, allocating resources, and ensuring delivery of compliance review work.
- Confident in representing the function at leadership meetings, committees, and project forums.
- Strong report-writing and communication skills, clearly articulating regulatory and business impacts.
- Collaborative and proactive, with the ability to build relationships, drive compliance outcomes, and work autonomously on regulatory matters.
- MS Office proficient, self-motivated, methodical, and open to occasional travel and varied responsibilities.
