The Best Connection - Aviation Department is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join our client, Wilson James, as an Airport Passenger Assistant at London Gatwick Airport. This is your chance to become a friendly and dependable face for holidaymakers as they begin their journey. Working closely with the Airport Operations Team, youll play a vital role in delivering a smooth and welcoming airport experience.
Position Details:
Pay Rate: £14.01 per hour
Shifts: Part-time - 6 hours per shift.
Shift Patterns: 4 ON / 4 OFF or 5 ON / 3 OFF - FLEXIBLE AVAILABILITY IS REQUIRED !
Weekly Pay: Every Friday
Overtime: Available
Available to start : End of July / August / September
!!! TEMPORARY WORK FOR AROUND 3 MONTHS !!!
Key Responsibilities: Deliver professional, polite, and courteous service at all times Escort special assistance passengers (and accompanying family) throughout the airport - on foot, by wheelchair, or by electric buggy, based on their needs Assist with passenger luggage when required Perform daily equipment checks and report any issues promptly Ensure wheelchairs and buggies are clean, well-maintained, and operational Communicate updates with Centralised Control using IT handsets Complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly Carry out any additional reasonable duties as directed by management What Were Looking For: A strong work ethic and a positive attitude Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to delivering high standards of customer service Ability to work independently and take initiative Previous airport experience (advantageous, but not essential) A full UK driving licence (REQUIRED) Multilingual candidates are highly desirable Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure Please Note: Due to industry regulations (CAA), all candidates must: Be willing to undergo a Criminal Record Check (paid for by us) Be available to provide an Overseas Criminal Record check (If less than 5 years in UK) Provide a full 5-year checkable history (we handle the process) Hold valid, in-date photo ID (passport, driving licence, or national ID) Provide a 5-year address history Attend a mandatory Aviation Security Course (paid for by us) Ready to Take Off in Your Career?
