Opportunities for teaching, training and research will be available within the fellowship programme and will be agreed by the Lead for Paediatric Anaesthesia Fellowship Training with the post holder prior to commencement of the fellowship. In particular – co-ordination and running of the Paediatric Anaesthetic journal club for trainees; as well as the Oxford Paediatric Anaesthetic CPD day, form part of the teaching roles encouraged within this post.

The post-holder will participate in clinical governance activities (within the Paediatric Anaesthetic group and the larger NDA group). Clinical audit, clinical effectiveness, risk management and quality improvement activities as required by the Trust, and external accrediting bodies will be expected and strongly encouraged.
