Summary
Employ excellent communication and interpersonal skills and to be highly skilled in a range of verbal and non-verbal communication tools. Communicate complex condition related information effectively to patients and relatives to progress treatment programmes. This will include the use of advocates to enable families whose first language is not English to access the service. Negotiate with others around case management in complex cases. Ensure collaborative working. To communicate with those involved in the care of patients, including GPs, in a professional, concise, accurate and detailed manner via telephone, letter, email, or in person. This may include the sharing of sensitive information relating to patient progress, Physiotherapy input or other matters affecting clinical intervention.
