Support Assistant Higher level Salary Grade - BB06: £31,586 to £34,316 Actual £25,052 - £27,216 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday Term Time only – Permanent 3 training days 2 positions available St Alban’s Catholic Primary is a highly respected Catholic school providing a good education for all our pupils. The opportunity has arisen to appoint two Higher Level Teaching Assistant to our highly successful school for September 2025. These positions will include covering PPA across the school from Nursery to Year 6, delivering interventions and supporting teaching and learning in the classroom. St Alban’s strives to wrap children in an atmosphere of care, love and fun. We aim to provide for their emotional, moral, social, spiritual and cultural development so that they will have excellent attitudes and relationships. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable and trustworthy; someone who would make a positive contribution to the life of the school following the Catholic ethos. We are part of the Bishop Bewick Catholic Education Trust, a family of 5 secondary schools and 34 primary schools from across Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland, in the North of the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle. The successful candidate will have good interpersonal skills, working as part of our school team and taking the lead on all site-related maintenance.
