Are you an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher ready to inspire the next generation of geographers? Our school in the B13 area of Birmingham is seeking a committed and dynamic Geography Teacher to join our team from September 2025.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5), in a well-resourced Humanities department that values creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that bring global issues, landscapes, and cultures to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Geography lessons that stretch and challenge all learners

  
  

• Plan, assess and track student progress in line with curriculum expectations

  
  

• Contribute to the development of schemes of work and extra-curricular opportunities

  
  

• Support the wider ethos of the school and participate in pastoral duties as required

  
  What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Geography or a related field

    
    

  • A passion for your subject and the ability to make it accessible and exciting

    
    

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

    
    

  • A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and student well-being

    
    

  • Suitable for experienced teachers or ECTs with strong placement experience
