Summary

Job Description

Assist to the delivery of an efficient service for the maintenance and upkeep of parks, open spaces and landscaped areas within East Ayrshire in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council’s key objectives specifically in relation to Community Planning, Single Outcome Agreement, Best Value and the Council’s Transformation Strategy.

Responsibilities

The Individual

These are temporary full time post based at Western Road Depot, Kilmarnock

The hours for the post is 37 hours per week and the work pattern is:
Monday - Thursday 7.15am - 3.15pm and Friday 7.15am - 2.45pm

The annual salary is between £25,724 - £26801per annum.

These posts are temporary until 15th June 2026.

The workstyle for this post is Fixed’ - 80-100% of your time at a single office base or work location. You will work at your administrative base or another agreed office location between 4 and 5 days per week. It is the expectation that all office-based employees (with the exception of those working in schools) will work to the higher end of their allocated workstyle in terms of time spent in the office or at other work locations.
