About the role
The Council has a clear vision for town centre regeneration. Now we are at the delivery phase you will be leading on all aspects of the council’s regeneration related asset acquisition and development. This will include driving forward significant development projects on behalf of the council and partners, working to a clear project methodology and contract managing external consultants such as architects, surveyors and property agents.
You will be forging strong relationships with businesses, investors and developers to support the delivery of one of the region’s most ambitious regeneration agendas.
This is a Fixed Term, 12 months contract.
About you
You will need a significant understanding and a successful track record of £multi million commercial and residential property acquisition and development.
A Chartered Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), you will bring significant post-qualification experience and a deep understanding of the property development lifecycle from acquisition through to delivery.
Strategic, results-driven, and politically astute, you will be able to demonstrate strong experience in project delivery, contract management, and stakeholder engagement.
