About Us:

Emmanuel Celebration Centre is a dynamic and growing Christian charity serving the local community in Slough and beyond. We are passionate about sharing the love of Christ, empowering families, and building a strong, faith-filled community. We are now looking for a creative and committed Social Media Manager to help us amplify our message and mission.

Role Overview:

As the Social Media Manager, you will lead our online presence—managing all social platforms, creating engaging content, and helping us connect meaningfully with both local and global audiences. You will play a key role in shaping how our story is told online and how we reach our Kiswahili-speaking community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a social media strategy aligned with the charity’s goals and mission.

• Create, curate, and manage content (graphics, videos, captions) across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube, and TikTok.

• Manage social media calendars, ensuring consistent and timely posts.

• Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and foster a strong online community.

• Collaborate with ministry and media teams to promote events, services, and initiatives.

• Monitor analytics and provide monthly performance reports.

• Ensure all content reflects Christian values and ECC’s unique culture.

• Support live streaming and online broadcast efforts where needed.

• Produce content both in English and Kiswahili.

Essential Requirements:

• Fluent in Kiswahili and English (written and spoken).

• Proven experience managing social media accounts (personal or professional).

• Strong creative skills – able to create engaging reels, stories, and posts.

• Basic graphic design and video editing skills.

• Knowledge of Christian faith, values, and church environment.

• Excellent time management and communication skills.

• A heart for ministry and community outreach.

Desirable:

• Experience working in a church or nonprofit setting.

• Familiarity with livestreaming and online church platforms.

• Photography and content storytelling ability.

We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds who share our vision. This role requires working within the ethos of a Christian charity.

To Apply:

Send your CV and a brief cover letter (in English or Kiswahili) outlining your experience and passion for this role to:
