Location: This post is based at Link’s Falkirk and Edinburgh offices. However, hybrid working is available with this role.

The Role

C~urb Property Management (part of Link Group) seeks 2 graduates of any discipline with excellent communication and organisational skills, for a 2 year traineeship.

You will start your career in one of Scotland’s biggest Registered Social Landlords and social enterprises, learning about project and property management. One year will be Falkirk based, delivering affordable home ownership services on behalf of the Scottish Government amongst other services. One year will be Edinburgh based within our award-winning letting agency, C~urb PSL, which gives homeless households access to a rented home.

You will be required to take on further study relevant to the property sector, and learn whilst you earn. You will learn about a variety of areas including After Sales Services for homes purchased through Government affordable home ownership schemes, Private Sector Leasing, Lettings, Marketing, Factoring and general Property Management.

The post is subject to hybrid working policy with up to 3 days at home after initial training in each placement.


About You

You will have graduated in the past two years in any discipline and be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational and time/project management skills is also essential. You will also be self-motivated, open-minded and open to challenges. Experience in the housing/property sector or related areas would be an advantage.

With attention to detail, numeracy and accuracy, you will use Microsoft Office and several databases and other IT systems when working as part of various teams throughout your traineeship.

Access to a car for property visits is desirable.
