Summary
Clearly verbalise instructions for patients to follow to obtain the most comprehensive diagnostic test results Communicate any worrying diagnostic eye test changes to the appropriate health professional following the appropriate protocols. Escalate to the appropriate health care profession if the diagnostic patient requires a different pathway eg: face to face instead of virtual clinic. Familiar with the local diagnostic protocols and standard operating procedures. Maintain a good working relationship with the medical, nursing, allied health profession and clerical team.
