Are you a passionate, qualified vet looking for more than just a job? Do you want to use your skills to make a genuine impact in people's lives – and their pets' lives – every single day?

I am working with an extraordinary organisation that delivers expert veterinary care to those across the UK who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford it. Their mission is simple: to ensure no pet suffers because their owner can’t pay for treatment. What they do really matters – and now, they’re looking for a like-minded vet to join their dedicated team.

About the Role
Based in a modern, well-equipped small animal hospital in the heart of bustling Birmingham, you’ll be part of a supportive and experienced veterinary team. You’ll encounter a diverse and rewarding caseload – the kind of cases that will challenge you, grow your skills, and remind you why you became a vet in the first place.

You’ll need to be confident, adaptable, and ready to take the lead when needed. Excellent communication skills are a must – you’ll be collaborating with a wide team and supporting clients from all walks of life. Most importantly, you’ll be someone who enjoys sharing knowledge and lifting up those around you.

What You’ll Find Here:

• A fast-paced, clinically varied environment – never a dull day!
• A team with broad clinical interests, open to discussion and collaboration
• A modern hospital with separate dog and cat facilities, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, piped gases, and an impressive range of orthopaedic kit
• A flexible approach to working hours and weekend rotas, with enhanced pay and time off in lieu for weekend work
• A workplace that prioritises impact over targets, combining clinical pragmatism with genuine compassion

Your Work-Life Balance Matters
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours/week), but they understand the importance of balance – flexible working patterns are available to suit your lifestyle and ensure you thrive both professionally and personally.

Why Birmingham?
The UK's second city is a hidden gem for career-minded professionals. With a lower cost of living, fantastic amenities, buzzing food and cultural scenes, and a central location for easy travel – it’s the perfect place to settle in and build something meaningful.

If you're ready to do vital work that changes lives I would love to hear from you. Get in touch today to discuss this incredible opportunity in more detail.

The Package:

• An excellent salary from £44,000 to £58,500 DOE
• CPD Allowance of one week and £1000 per year
• Full RCVS fees
• Range of internal CPD programmes and discounts for BSAVA congress and London Vet Show
