1.0 FTE / 35 Hours per week
Grade 4 - Starts at £24,344 rising by yearly increments to a maximum of £25,733 per annum.
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join us in the position of Campus (maintenance) Operative at Marjon University located in the north of Plymouth. We are looking for customer focused team members who can work alone, or in a team. You will be responsible for carrying out assigned maintenance tasks on campus and will be an integral part of a dedicated team that takes enormous pride in what they do.
Marjon is a fantastic place to work along with a good working environment and the opportunity to gain new skills. Flexibility is essential; core working hours are between 8am-4pm, but you will need to be able to work flexibly around these hours.
The successful candidate will:
•Have experience in at least one of the following: Basic Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Building Fabric Maintenance, Painting & Decorating.
•Have experience carrying out reactive & planned maintenance tasks.
•Have experience carrying out inspections, cleaning and maintenance (internally and externally).
•Be able to move furniture/rearrange room setups.
•Hold a full UK driving licence.
In order to be successful in this role, you will be required to work on site.
