Job Description:
CGS Landscape Ltd are a busy and thriving commercial landscaping company based in Middlesbrough. We are looking for an Assistant/Junior Contracts Manager to work as part of our well-established team in overseeing and managing our soft landscaping contracts.
You will be responsible for assisting the Contracts Manager with the the day-to-day operations of 40 active sites at any given time. Full training will be given however ideally you will have already obtained a qualification or experience in Construction/Site Supervision or Planning.
The right candidate will show excellent communication and organisational skills.
Access to a Company Pool Vehicle will be provided for Site visits.
Duties will include:
Assisting Planning work schedules for site operatives.
Ordering of Materials to Site.
Reading site plans and delivering clear instructions to teams.
Undertaking site visits and completing reports.
Monitor Variations and obtain PO for additional works.
Assist the Contracts Manager with site related Admin support.
Maintaining a strong working relationship with Customers and Suppliers.
Ensure teams are compliant with health and safety requirements assist with Tool Box Talks.
Other responsibilities will include:
Control quality and ensure work is completed to the specification and time frame.
Working alongside other departments in the business to ensure smooth operation.
Day to day organisation of individual projects.
Liaise with customers and provide clear helpful advice.
Key Skills:
Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following skills/experience:
Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively under pressure.
Able to manage multiple teams and overcome challenges calmly and efficiently.
Excellent organisation and time management skills.
Clean driving licence.
· Salary depending on experience.
· 22 days paid holiday + bank holidays
· Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm
