Summary
School Cleaner – Derby, DE22 1JD
Hours: Monday to Friday, 15:00–1800 (Term Time Only)
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently seeking a School Cleaner to join the facilities team at a well-respected secondary school in the DE22 area of Derby.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas
Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
Dusting and wiping down surfaces
Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
Restocking hygiene supplies (toilet paper, hand soap, etc.)
Following all health and safety and hygiene procedures
Requirements:
Enhanced DBS check is required
If you have lived abroad for 12 months or more (cumulatively) in the last 10 years, an overseas police check will also be required
Proof of address, National Insurance number, 3 years of references, and Right to Work documentation needed
Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
