Temporary Cook – DE56 1UQ
£12.21 per hour | Monday to Friday | 37 hours per week
We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Cook to support a residential adult care service based in Belper (DE56 1UQ). This is a great opportunity for someone with catering experience who is looking for weekday work in a rewarding environment.
Role Details:
Location: DE56 1UQ (Belper)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Days: Monday to Friday
Shift Time: 07:00 – 15:00
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Start Date: Monday 16th June 2025
End Date: Sunday 22nd June 2025 (possible extension)
Dress Code: Black trousers with sturdy, flat, non-slip shoes
Main Duties:
Preparing and cooking meals to a set menu
Ensuring dietary requirements and food hygiene standards are met
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
Supporting a team to deliver high-quality meal services for residents
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years’ work references
Must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS Check
Previous experience in a similar cooking or catering role
Good time management and ability to work independently
