A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter to join a professional and supportive team at a well-established site in Avonmouth. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing HGVs to high industry standards, with the backing of a skilled workshop and management team.

Key Responsibilities of an HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs in line with industry regulations
• Diagnose mechanical faults accurately and complete repairs efficiently
• Work collaboratively with your team to maintain workshop efficiency
• Accurately complete all job records and documentation
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and ensure vehicle compliance

Skills and Qualifications for an HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter
Essential

• Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance or equivalent
• Proven experience working on HGVs
• Full UK driving licence
• Good diagnostic and communication skills

Desirable

• HGV Class 1 licence
• Experience with diagnostic equipment and repair systems
• Positive attitude with a desire to learn and develop
