We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse environment, ensuring efficient operations and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities
Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, to load and unload goods safely.
Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation of all incoming and outgoing materials.
Handle materials with care, following proper procedures for heavy lifting and storage.
Maintain an organised warehouse environment, including the upkeep of inventory records in the warehouse management system.
Assist in equipment repair and maintenance as needed, utilising to troubleshoot issues.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, promoting a safe working environment.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential.
Proficiency in using forklifts; relevant certification is advantageous.
Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, as well as materials handling techniques.
Capability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the shift.
Basic maths skills for inventory management and record keeping.
Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
