Summary
Assist in daily movement, issue and receipt of equipment. Prepare weapons and ancillary equipment for issue in accordance with the training programme. Complete Dangerous Good paperwork as required.
Carry out loading and unloading of all stores and freight in accordance with current legislation including handling of Radioactive materials. Use of Forklift Truck and other manual handling equipment and manual handling techniques.
Take all appropriate accounting actions on the MoD Supply Chain Management Software, Management of Joint Defence Inventory (MJDI). Maintain the equipment held on account to ensure serviceability and cleanliness.
Provide support to other area of the logistics department, or conduct any other tasks commensurate with the grade, as required by the line manager or Unit Logistics Officer.
