Summary
Self-Employed Personal Assistant-Chorley area
We are looking for a self-employed Personal Assistant to support a visually impaired woman in the Chorley area, both within her home and in the local community.
The client is independent, active, and leads a busy working life. She is a guide dog user and enjoys yoga, mindfulness, fashion, literature, tandem cycling, travel, and spending time in nature. She is seeking someone reliable, flexible and practical who can provide assistance across a range of tasks while respecting her autonomy.
Support required includes:
• Light household tasks and cleaning.
• Grocery shopping and running errands.
• Exploring local parks and countryside to free run her guide dog.
• Accompanying the client to the swimming pool and other local activities.
• Assisting with navigating new areas and exploring the local community.
The ideal candidate will be confident, adaptable, and a friendly individual who is a driver and has an excellent attention to detail. It is essential that the candidate is comfortable working around dogs and an interest in health, well-being, and the outdoors would be a bonus.
Flexible evening and weekend hours available.
Essential requirements:
• Clear, recent enhanced DBS
• Evidence of current liability insurance
• Valid UTR number
• Ability to provide regular invoices
