Care and Support - Thornfield Care Home
Contract: Full Time Salary: £14.60 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: 24-48Located on the edge of the charming seaside town of Seaton, Thornfield Care Home provides personalised Residential, Dementia and Respite care for up to 52 residents. We are now looking for a dedicated Team Leader to help guide our care team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their leadership, brings compassion to every shift, and wants to make a real impact.

About the Role:
As Team Leader, you will be the main point of contact during your shift, supporting and motivating your team while making sure residents receive high quality, person centred care. From administering medication and updating care plans to offering reassurance and leading handovers, you will help set the tone for a calm, respectful and well-run home.
You will lead with warmth and confidence, set clear expectations, and help colleagues grow in their roles. You will communicate clearly with residents, families and healthcare professionals, and create a supportive environment where everyone feels respected and safe.
What We Are Looking For:
Whether you are an experienced Senior Care Assistant ready to step up or a current Team Leader looking for a change, we are looking for someone who is confident, caring and committed.
You will need:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (essential)
- Previous experience in a Senior or Team Leader care role (preferred)
- Confidence administering medication and coordinating shifts
- A calm, approachable leadership style with excellent communication skills
