We wish to appoint a number of Clinical Fellows (CT1/2 Equivalent) in Intensive Care Medicine and/or Emergency Medicine to commence on 7th August 2024 until 6th August 2025. Posts are for 6 months in each speciality or 12 months in intensive care, depending on individual preferences. 6 month –posts in ICM may also be available.
Full Registration with the GMC is essential, as is expected completion of Foundation level (F2) competencies before commencing the post.
Posts are based at Southmead Hospital, Bristol. There are up to 16 posts of 12 months ICM, and up to 12 posts of 6 months each in EM and ICM. A number of 6-month posts in ICM-only may also be available.
North Bristol NHS Trust is the largest acute trust in the South West of England. Southmead Hospital is a designated Major Trauma Centre, as well as a regional referral centre for renal medicine, urology, vascular and transplant surgery, neurology and neurosurgery. The trust has good links with the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England.
Completion of a Foundation Program (or equivalent) and experience and familiarity with UK hospital systems and practices (or equivalent) are essential.
