A leading multi-specialist dental centre based in Truro, Cornwall is seeking a GDC-registered Specialist Orthodontist to join their highly regarded private practice. The position is available on either a locum or permanent basis and offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dedicated and forward-thinking clinical team.

The practice is fully private, equipped with the latest dental technology and supported by a team of experienced specialists and clinical staff. Patients travel from across the region and beyond for the centre’s advanced treatments in orthodontics, endodontics, and implantology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive orthodontic assessments and formulate detailed treatment plans


  • Provide fixed and removable appliance therapy, including contemporary systems such as clear aligners


  • Monitor patient progress through regular review appointments, ensuring optimal clinical outcomes


  • Communicate clearly and professionally with referring dentists and colleagues to support multidisciplinary care


  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records in line with GDC and CQC requirements


  • Deliver an exceptional standard of patient care, maintaining a calm, empathetic and professional approach at all times


  • Uphold the highest standards of clinical governance, infection control, and regulatory compliance


  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in clinical services and support the practice’s commitment to professional development
