We are currently seeking a HGV Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive commercial business based in the Maidstone area.
The successful HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £43000 with OTE of circa £50000 with alternate working hours of Week 1: 06:00 – 14:30 Monday to Friday, week 2:13:30 – 22:30 Monday to Friday with weekend overtime available for both working weeks.
Our Client is looking for a HGV Technician to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.
Benefits:
- Day/Late shift: £16.00 - £21.00 per hour (depending on experience)
- Night shift: Circa £23.50 per hour
- Shifts:
- Alternate weekly rotation of early and late:
- Week 1: 06:00 – 14:30
- Week 2: 13:30 – 22:30
- Saturday morning overtime available (not every week), paid at time and a half
- Overtime regularly available
- Secure, long-term role with a respected company
- Ongoing training and support
- Excellent facilities and modern equipment
Typical Duties for our client include, but are not limited to:
- Servicing, repair and Maintenance of HGVs
- Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
- Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
- Completion of MOT preparation
Requirements:
- Previous working experience within the role
- Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Excellent mechanical knowledge
- A Class 1 Licence may be beneficial to your application
