Summary
Client Services Officer – Choose You Service (Public Health)
Location: Hybrid (Home and Chicksands-based)
Hours: Flexible – 15 to 30 hours per week (including some evenings and weekends)
Contract: Initial 8 weeks, with potential extension up to 6 months
Are you an organised, empathetic individual with a passion for supporting community wellbeing? Join our Public Health team as a Client Services Officer for the Choose You service – a referral-based lifestyle programme designed to support residents in making positive health changes.
Key Responsibilities:

Contact residents referred to the Choose You service to explain the offer and book them onto suitable programmes.

Deliver excellent customer service with empathy and professionalism.

Use the Choose You caseload management system (Theseus) to record and manage client interactions.

Make a high volume of outbound calls (up to 30 hours per week), including some evenings and weekends to reach residents outside standard working hours.
About You:

Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in a health or social care setting.

Strong communication skills and a professional, friendly telephone manner.

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

Confident using Microsoft Office applications.

Able to maintain a quiet, private workspace at home for making sensitive and confidential calls.

Willing and able to travel to Chicksands for training and team collaboration.
Additional Requirements:

Calls must be made from an appropriate environment, free from distractions such as children, pets, or background noise.

Home working setup must meet DSE (Display Screen Equipment) requirements.
