Summary
Are you a proactive Quality professional with a passion for driving excellence across systems, products, and processes? We’re looking for a Quality Manager to join our client quality team and lead the charge in delivering world-class standards across our automotive and rail manufacturing operations.
About the Role
As Quality Manager, you will oversee and embed all elements of the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with ISO9001, IATF16949, and rail industry standards. You’ll play a key role in responding to customer concerns, analysing field failures, implementing corrective actions, and embedding continuous improvement across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Drive compliance and continual improvement across the QMS
Lead responses to customer complaints and field failures with effective containment and root cause analysis (RCA)
Support and maintain PPAP documentation and customer-specific requirements
Deliver internal process audits and staff training to embed quality culture
Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve build quality and reduce supplier non-conformance
Manage quality documentation and lessons learned integration into future projects
Develop and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
Ensure safe, sustainable practices across quality-related activities
Who You Are
You are a results-driven leader with a strong background in quality systems, ideally within the manufacturing, automotive or rail sectors. You bring analytical expertise, hands-on problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration. You are fluent in quality standards and have a proven track record of sustaining improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience with ISO9001, IATF16949, and rail quality standards
Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
Proficient in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Poka-yoke, PPAP, FMEA)
Excellent communication, reporting, and training capabilities
Leadership experience with a passion for coaching and continuous improvement
