Summary

Press Setter Operator (Rotating Shifts)
Location: West Bromwich
Pay: £24,761 - £30,420 Per Annum DOE
Hours: 39 hours per week (2-week rotating pattern)
Contract: Permanent

Overview:

We are currently recruiting two experienced Press Setter Operators for a busy and well-established manufacturing facility in West Bromwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and motivated individuals to join a secure, long-term role offering excellent benefits and career development.

Shift Pattern:

Week 1
• Monday to Thursday: 06:00 – 14:00
• Friday: 06:00 – 13:00

Week 2
• Monday to Thursday: 14:00 – 22:00
• Friday: 13:00 – 20:00

️ Key Responsibilities:

• Set and operate power presses and related equipment

  
  

• Assemble products and frames according to engineering drawings

  
  

• Maintain production rates and report any deviations or issues

  
  

• Monitor and ensure the quality of produced parts

  
  

• Maintain accurate production and quality records

  
  

• Keep work area clean, organised, and compliant with 5S standards

  
  

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

  
  

• Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations on site

  
  

• Carry out any other duties as assigned

  
  ✅ Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience setting and operating power presses

    
    

  • Ability to work independently or within a team

    
    

  • Strong awareness of health and safety practices

    
    

  • Focused, quality-driven, and target-oriented approach

    
    

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
