Rikama Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join a fantastic Primary school based in Rochester for september or immediate start.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for children.
This role involves educating young learners, managing classroom behaviour, and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles.
Duties:
• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards, focusing on subjects such as Maths and English.
• Educate children using a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning preferences.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive educational community.
• Manage classroom behaviour through effective strategies and techniques, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all students.
• Utilise Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) techniques when necessary to support children with diverse needs.
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Engage in proofreading educational materials to ensure clarity and accuracy before distribution.
Experience:
• Previous experience teaching children in a preschool or educational setting is essential.
• Familiarity with behaviour management techniques and strategies is highly desirable.
• Experience teaching physical education or implementing physical activity programmes is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with students and parents alike.
