About this Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, highly motivated individual to join our Intercompany Team within Group Reporting & Ledger Control which is part of Group Finance Support.

The Intercompany team are responsible for the control, reporting and governance of Intercompany activities to deliver assurance on the underlying financial information and confirm internal and external balances are reported accurately.

Intercompany Posting, Reconciliation, Settlement and Matching are key Financial Controls in ensuring the completeness of our External Legal Entity Financial Reporting.

What are the key responsibilities of the role?
  • Reconciliation and detailed analysis of Intercompany balances to ensure that the Group Intercompany positions are recorded accurately within the ledgers.

  • Investigation of any significant mismatches.

  • Driving the resolution of Intercompany differences between counterparties to ensure these are cleared to below group materiality within the timescales set out by the Group timetable.

  • Working collaboratively with multiple teams across Finance to deliver the month end process for Intercompany.

  • Preparation of Intercompany enrichment for Quarterly reporting

  • Undertaking reporting & analysis for Customer and Audit queries

  • Support the provision of quality and timely information and analysis to advise business decisions.

What you'll need

  • You'll be a dedicated finance professional with a proven track record of excellence, preferably within the financial services sector.

  • Ideally, you'll be studying towards a professional finance qualification or newly qualified and be a confident verbal communicator with an ability to influence at all levels.

  • Strong analytical skills and a drive to contribute to the success of the business are critical.

  • Can positively influence others by demonstrating core Lloyds Banking Group values and behaviours

  • Can demonstrate collaboration and teamwork across the team to help optimise business results

  • Can speak up, challenge and act to help deliver continuous improvement in behaviours and processes
