Job Overview
-The role is to manage the daily operational running of the Domestic, Porters and Laundry team within a Adult Mental Health Hospital. This will involve ensuring all Compliance is adhered to, ensuring staff take their breaks at the correct times, carry out weekly stock ordering, monthly stock takes, assist is monitoring of the Wards with the Designated Compliance Officer from The Trust. Ensuring correct training is rolled out to all staff and identify areas where re-training may be needed.
Main Duties
-Ensuring staff arrive on time and carry out their daily roles whilst adhering to Compliance at all times. Think of your feet and be able to identify issues and deal with them immediately. Liase with the Nursing staff, contractors, The Trust and various other personal on a professional level and ensure you represent Mitie at all times,
What we are looking for
-The candidate must be smart, trustworthy, be able to work under pressure, think on their feet and remain calm at all times. They must be able to lead by example to identify areas or personal that may need support. The candidate must feel confident when having to speak to a member of the Team who has possibly not carried out their job correctly and be able to identify who best to deal with issues when needed.
