Are you passionate about driving growth and building strong commercial partnerships? We’re looking for a dynamic Key Account Manager to join our team, focused on expanding sales and Numark membership across a portfolio of Regional Multiple Pharmacy groups, while also managing key relationships with selected National Accounts.
In this pivotal role, you’ll leverage your deep understanding of the pharmacy sector to identify new business opportunities, deliver tailored solutions, and build long-term strategic partnerships. Working closely with cross-functional teams and as part of the Pharmacy leadership team, you’ll play a key role in shaping our commercial strategy, supporting customer success, and contributing to the continued growth of Numark and our wider network.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements for the Role:
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of the pharmacy industry and challenges faced by Key Account customers (10+ stores).
- Drive business growth by leveraging Numark’s commercial and service offerings to secure new accounts.
- Collaborate with the Manufacturing Services team to pursue Ethical sales opportunities via dual RWA agreements with national and vertically integrated chains (e.g. Boots, Lloyds, Well, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrisons).
- Identify and develop new opportunities, solve challenges, and contribute actively to the Pharmacy leadership team.
- Create effective business proposals and presentations, using strong commercial acumen and analytical insight.
- Understand category profitability and manage the profit mix when crafting business proposals.
- Make a strong first impression with key customers and engage new, non-trading accounts.
- Promote the full Numark offering to selected customers, focusing on areas most relevant to their needs.
- Conduct regular business reviews to identify and develop further growth opportunities.
- Monitor industry trends by attending key events (e.g., AIMp) to maintain market awareness.
- Set, track, and report on monthly, quarterly, and annual KAM targets at appropriate business forums.
- Communicate customer concerns or new ideas to the business and ensure appropriate action is taken.
- Liaise with internal departments across Numark/Phoenix to ensure timely and effective follow-up on leads and requests.
- Contribute to shaping Sales team strategy by sharing customer feedback to highlight growth opportunities and new revenue streams.
