About Phoenix Data, Analytics and Insight Team:

This is a transformative and exciting time to be part of the Phoenix Data, Analytics & Insight (DA&I) team. We are embarking on a bold journey to reimagine how data is used across the business — from laying strong modern data foundations to unlocking powerful insights and shaping AI-driven innovations that will help to support our ambitious growth plans.

We’re building a high-performing, forward-thinking team with a fresh structure, modern cloud-based technologies like Microsoft Fabric, and a clear focus on delivering business impact. Whether you’re passionate about data engineering, business intelligence, analytics, or automation, you’ll be joining a team where your ideas will shape the future of healthcare logistics and pharmacy services in the UK.

You’ll be empowered to make a real difference, working on meaningful projects that improve decision-making, drive efficiency, and help our colleagues and customers thrive.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Performance Analytics Lead to drive insight-led decision-making and shape the future of data-informed strategy at Phoenix Medical Supplies. This is a high-impact role at the heart of our growing Data, Analytics & Insight team.

You’ll lead a team of senior analytics business partners to uncover opportunities, optimise performance, and influence commercial, customer, and operational outcomes through advanced analytics and data science.

With a strong blend of technical capability, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement, you’ll translate complex data into powerful, actionable insight — helping our business and customers thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the Performance Analytics team to deliver timely, actionable insights in a fast-paced environment.
  • Partner closely with senior leaders across the business to proactively identify opportunities and influence strategic decision-making.
  • Coach and develop senior analytics business partners, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
  • Champion the use of advanced analytics and AI, identifying opportunities to apply cutting-edge techniques that drive value.
  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across business units to address data needs and improve productivity, efficiency, and performance.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the Phoenix DA&I strategy as a senior leader in the team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in performance analytics and business partnering, ideally within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment (e.g., retail, healthcare, logistics).
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience mentoring, developing, and managing high-performing analytics teams.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on expertise in Python, PySpark, and SQL for data analysis and transformation.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, with experience building intuitive dashboards and working within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large, complex datasets to generate insights, identify trends, and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills — able to simplify complex data and effectively influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to manage competing priorities, work cross-functionally, and deliver results at pace.
