Estate Technician

Leicester – covering Ashby De La Zouch

£25,459
- £26,799 per year
40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm

We are looking for an Estate Technician to join our Estate Services team, based in Ashby De La Zouch. You will mainly be lone working and your duties will include grounds maintenance, communal block and office cleaning and bulk/fly tipping removal. The ideal candidate will be someone who is hardworking and has a keen eye for detail. This role will include a company van (not for personal use) and power tools and training will be provided as and when required.

The role of Estate Technician will include:
· Carrying out grounds maintenance duties on a daily basis
· General cleaning communal blocks and an on site office
· Completing daily work records and maintaining stock levels
· Ensuring tools and equipment are kept in a useable condition
· Working with customers to resolve issues and improve services
· Providing accurate information and updates on the progress of allocated work

Skills and experiences:

- Pesticide Application Certificate PA1 – PA6
- Working knowledge and experience of undertaking grounds maintenance, caretaking, general cleaning
- and basic repairs duties
- Recent experience in interpreting written instructions and maintaining simple written records
- Working knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Practical experience in operating hand tools and light machinery
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
