More detail about the role Our Phlebotomists form an essential and well-respected part of our healthcare team across a number of dynamic settings; including outpatients and inpatient wards. You must have experience taking patient blood samples. The Team Phlebotomists are an integral part of the Outpatient Team. Working Pattern: The post is for 20 hours per week, covering a variety of shifts over the 7 day week. We provide a phlebotomy service on the inpatient wards between 08:00 and 12:00 on a Monday to Friday and 07:30 to 11:30 during Bank Holidays and weekends. We also have a phlebotomy service in the Outpatients where we are open between 09:00 and 16:50. Depending on your shift pattern and working hours, you may also receive additional enhancements to your pay. If you join before the implementation date, the pay award will be backdated to your start date.
