Summary

We're looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our Staffordshire Police FM team based in Staffordshire.

Location: Staffordshire, Stafford

Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00, with requirement to participate in an out-of-hours rota including evenings, nights, and weekends



What will you be responsible for?

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be working within the Staffordshire Police FM team, supporting them in delivering safe, compliant, and efficient building maintenance services across the Staffordshire Police estate.



Your day to day will include:

-Undertaking planned preventative maintenance activities including emergency lighting tests, tap temperature checks, and other PPM duties.

-Attending to reactive maintenance requests and completing minor fabric and M&E repairs.

-Responding to alarm activations and ensuring timely remedial actions are taken.

-Maintaining accurate work records and ensuring logbooks are up to date.

-Providing access and chaperoning subcontractors, and working flexibly as part of an on-call rota



What are we looking for?This role of Maintenance Technician is great for you if:

-You have experience working within a multi-skilled maintenance role in commercial or public sector buildings.

-You are competent in planned maintenance and general building fabric and M&E systems.

-You hold a full UK driving licence and have at least two years of relevant experience.
