Hours: 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time)To start September 2025The children, staff, and governors of Pentyrch Primary School wish to appoint a proactive, enthusiastic and creative Senior Teaching Assistant from September 2025.
The successful candidate will need to:
• significantly contribute to the ethos and values of our school;
• have high expectations of children’s achievement;
• have the ability to inspire and challenge children through an innovative and creative approach to learning in the classroom and outdoor learning environment;
• demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to nurture relationships with staff, pupils and parents;
• have commitment, be highly motivated and be able to contribute to our dedicated and enthusiastic team;
• be adaptable, resourceful, and innovative;
• have excellent communication and IT skills.
Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
