Behaviour Mentor - Secondary School - Coventry - From £95 PAYE per day
Long Term Futures is working in partnership with a mainstream OFSTED-rated 'Good' secondary school in Coventry to recruit a resilient and adaptable Behaviour Mentor.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting young people in classroom settings across a range of year groups. The role focuses on helping students to engage positively with learning and supporting behaviour management strategies in class.
We are looking for a confident, proactive individual who can build strong relationships with students and staff, remain calm under pressure, and encourage pupils to develop positive attitudes towards learning and behaviour.
The Role:

Provide behaviour support within classrooms across a variety of year groups (KS3 and KS4)

Work closely with teaching staff to implement consistent behaviour management strategies

Support students in overcoming barriers to learning, encouraging positive social skills and emotional regulation

What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience working in a secondary school or similar educational setting
- Strong behaviour management skills and confidence managing challenging situations
- Ability to work flexibly across multiple classes and year groups as needed
- Resilient, calm and approachable with a professional attitude
- A commitment to promoting positive student behaviour and wellbeing
- A relevant qualification in education or behaviour support (desirable but not essential)
