Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant looking for an exciting new challenge? Do you have a strong background in supporting pupils with special educational needs?

About the Role:

This temp-to-perm position is an incredible opportunity to join a new school, shaping an inclusive and supportive environment for pupils with diverse learning needs. You'll work alongside teachers and senior staff to deliver engaging lessons and provide essential care and support.

What You'll Be Doing:

· Offering specialist support to pupils with special educational needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning

· Assisting with classroom activities, behaviour management, and personal development

· Providing support in personal care, therapy, and health interventions under professional guidance

· Helping to create a stimulating learning environment where pupils can thrive

· Taking part in specialist training, including moving and handling, medical interventions, safeguarding, and Team Teach strategies

· Encouraging pupils to engage, interact, and build confidence in their abilities

What We're Looking For:

· Previous experience in a similar or related role within an SEN or educational setting

· A passionate and patient individual who is dedicated to supporting pupils with diverse needs

· A strong communicator and team player who can collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals

· Someone resilient and adaptable, ready to meet the challenges of a dynamic learning environment

· A keen learner, willing to undergo formal training in specialist strategies
