Summary
We are looking for a caring and dedicated Communication Support Buddy to join our client schools specialist provision, helping students access their education in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Ideally, you'll have some knowledge of hearing loss, but if not-don't worry! Training and support can be provided. What's most important is your enthusiasm and commitment to helping every child feel seen, heard, and supported.
We are looking for a candidate with British Sign Language (BSL) Level 2 or above, or Makaton Level 2 or above with a desire to further develop your skills. The school's primary communication approach is Sign Supported English, ensuring students can engage fully in their learning while strengthening their confidence in communication.
What You'll Be Doing:

Support & Training:
You'll have dedicated support from the Teacher in Charge of the Specialist Provision, including:
