We're working with a fantastic primary school in Edgbaston seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. This is a brilliant opportunity to support young learners during a key academic year and make a real impact in the classroom.
Your Role:
- Provide tailored support to pupils in a Year 2 class
- Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons
- Lead small group interventions in reading, writing and maths
- Support children's social and emotional development
- Help with classroom preparation and resources
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with primary-aged children, ideally KS1
- Confident supporting the Year 2 curriculum and phonics
- A nurturing, patient approach with a team mindset
- Reliable, enthusiastic and keen to make a difference
- A good level of spoken and written English
