Key Responsibilities for the Deputy Manager:

Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to the care and nursing teams

Support the Home Manager in running the service effectively and efficiently

Ensure safe and person-centred care delivery in line with regulatory standards

Oversee assessments, care planning, and medication management

Supervise staff performance, conduct audits, and contribute to staff development

Help plan staff rotas and maintain appropriate skill mix on shift

Act as a positive role model and key contact for residents, families, and external professionals

About You:

Registered Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC PIN

Proven experience in a leadership or senior nursing role within adult care

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Confident in leading shifts and supporting staff performance

Committed to maintaining high standards of care and compliance

Willing to contribute to the on-call rota as required
