Location: Calne, SN11 (Just a 4min Drive from Castlefields Canal & River Park)
Pay Rate: £12.83 per hour (£50 per sleep-in shift)
Position: Full-Time or Part-Time
Driver Requirement: Preference given to applicants with Full UK Driving Licence & Own Vehicle
Are you creative, confident, and passionate about helping others thrive? We're looking for a Female Support Worker to join our friendly and proactive team in Calne, supporting two vibrant young ladies in their 20s with autism, Down's syndrome, and learning disabilities.
Who Will You Be Supporting?
You'll be supporting two wonderful ladies who are due to move into their first home together and love to live life to the fullest. They enjoy a wide range of fun and social activities, including:
- Horse riding, arts & crafts, and pottery
- Animal therapy and drumming sessions
- Phab Club - music, discos, and social events
- Exploring new hobbies and building new skills
Their families are very involved in their lives. Your role will be to help them grow in confidence, explore new experiences, and enjoy a shared yet individualised lifestyle.
What Will You Be Doing?
As a Support Worker, you'll be:
- Promoting Independence: Encouraging confidence and self-assurance in daily routines and new experiences.
- Engaging in Activities: Supporting them to attend clubs, events, and creative sessions.
- Daily Living Support: Assisting with meal prep, medication, and verbal prompts for personal care.
- Building Relationships: Creating strong, person-centred partnerships with the people you support and their families.
- Being Creative & Proactive: Bringing fresh ideas and energy to help them discover new interests and opportunities.
Shift Patterns:
- Day Shifts:
- 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- 2:30 PM - 10:00 PM
- Long Days: 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM
- We are also seeking support workers that would be flexible to work Sleep-In Shifts.
- Rotas are provided in advance to support a healthy work-life balance.
