Summary

Senior Reprographics Operator

Salary: £28,500 per annum + 7.5% shift allowance (totalling £30,637.50)

Location: 1 Churchill Place, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HP

Contract: Permanent, Full time

Shifts: 37.5 hours per week worked Mon-Fri 7am – 3pm and 2pm – 10pm on a rotating shift pattern with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break

Purpose of the role

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Reprographics Operator to join our fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will be confident operating a range of reprographics equipment, managing print production from digital files, and maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy under pressure. You’ll be comfortable juggling multiple deadlines, working collaboratively, and delivering exceptional service across departments. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in precision, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to delivering consistent, high-quality output in line with agreed service levels and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Produce printed materials to specification and schedule, ensuring accuracy and quality at every stage
Conduct final quality checks on all completed work prior to dispatch
Provide guidance to internal users on the best methods of production for their needs
Handle and prepare digital files in various formats (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, etc.) for print
Perform light maintenance on reprographics equipment (e.g., replace toner, clear paper jams) and escalate major issues to the Team Lead or service provider
Monitor and manage consumables stock, raising purchase orders as needed
Log and report machine faults promptly to ensure minimal downtime
Support internal and client needs by printing, photocopying, collating, and binding presentations and documentation
Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to requests and queries in a professional and helpful manner
Carry out ad hoc duties as requested by senior management
Key Skills & Experience

Strong knowledge of reprographics processes and production techniques
Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and PDF management tools
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Outstanding verbal and written communication
A customer-focused approach with a professional and approachable manner
Team player who can also work independently and take initiative
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality
