Summary
The post is for a full-time (10 PAs) locum Consultant Physician with a focus on delivering diabetes services and covering acute intake medical work and providing ongoing care to the patients admitted on the take. The post will be based at University Hospital Lewisham. The job plan will be negotiated between the consultant and the Divisional Director. A Responsible Officer for Appraisal and Revalidation will be allocated to the post holder, and engagement with these processes will be a requirement of this post. The exact timetable for this post will be agreed with the post holder following appointment but will necessarily include several fixed clinical commitments. Timetables may be changed as necessary based on the service need and the special interests of the appointee, followingagreement with the Clinical Director and other Consultant staff.
