Location: Kendal Distribution Centre
Hybrid – Minimum 3 days on-site at our Kendal Distribution Centre
Contract Type: 39 hours, Permanent
Are you organised, proactive, and passionate about logistics? At Lakeland, we’re looking for an Inbound Admin to support our inbound supply chain operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of stock into our distribution centre.
As an Inbound Admin, you'll provide critical administrative support to the inbound supply chain, collaborating closely with freight forwarders, hauliers, our distribution centre, and the Buying and Merchandising teams. You’ll play a vital role in managing bookings, ensuring compliance, and maintaining the smooth movement of stock.
Key Responsibilities
•Manage inbound supplier bookings in line with pallet plans and DC capacity
•Enter and update bookings using Dock Scheduler; confirm with hauliers and suppliers
•Complete weekly HMRC supplementary declarations, ensuring compliance with the latest regulations (including Windsor Framework updates)
•Coordinate return collections and align with distribution centre capacity
•Maintain accurate documentation for all inbound deliveries – scanning and filing daily
•Generate management information reports as needed
•Support the Imports Supervisor with sourcing, ordering, and compliance
•Work with Buying and Merchandising to create effective container load plans
What We’re Looking For
Knowledge & Experience:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment is beneficial
- Familiarity with hauliers and freight forwarders is an advantage
- Proficient in Excel (intermediate level minimum)
- Experience with warehouse or scheduling systems is a plus
