Summary

About the role

The Maintenance Officers play a vital role within the running of the hospices, to take pride in the environment in which they operate. It is the Maintenance Officers responsibility to ensure that all equipment and facilities are fully functioning, keeping the safety of employees and customers at the forefront of everything we do.

Essential criteria

  • The Maintenance Officer is required to work across a fast-paced environment and multi-sites
  • You will be required to carry out various reactive and planned maintenance tasks across our sites in a professional manner, which will include an out of hours on-call function
  • A good level of technical experience and knowledge in a diverse environment for buildings and facilities maintenance, undertaking activities and support for building, maintenance, plumbing, and other areas of work
  • To ensure planned maintenance tasks are completed to the stated schedules, keeping of detailed records when works are completed
