Summary

Section Engineer

We're looking for a Section Engineer to join our Wanlip team based in Leicester for our contract with Severn Trent.

Location: Wanlip, Leicester Hours: 45 hours per week - Permanent, Full Time Contract

What will you be responsible for?As a Section Engineer, you'll be working within the Wanlip Sewerage Treatment Works team, supporting them in delivering the Early Contractor Involvement and Main Works Contracts for the site upgrade.

What will your day to day in the role look like?

Your day to day will include:

-Providing engineering support and supervision to ensure technical compliance with design specifications

-Preparing and maintaining construction records, including ‘as-built' drawings and inspection/test records

-Ensuring accurate setting out and quality control of construction works

-Managing site engineers and participating in daily briefings and control meetings

-Coordinating materials, plant, and equipment to meet programme requirements and minimise waste

What are we looking for?This role of Section Engineer is great for you if:

-You hold a relevant qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, HNC, or Degree in a related field)

-You have experience with CAT & Genny training and hold EUSR Water Hygiene certification

-You bring strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and a proactive, collaborative approach
