We are looking for a hard-working, reliable and honest sales assistant to work in our convenience store. As a local community store, we are looking for someone who has a friendly and positive attitude and can offer excellent customer service. Previous retail experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. Retail experience in a convenience store / supermarket / café dessert environment is preferred. Suitable persons will be taken on permanent basis.
For any premises that sell alcohol suitable candidates must be compliant with licensing conditions. (Only suitable applicants will be contacted)
Duties include all work related to the store including cleaning & stacking shelves, rotating stock, facing up items, checking expiry dates, cleaning store as well as serving customers. Efficiently work deliveries as they arrive in store. Passionately provide excellent customer service.
You should be within easy travelling distance from the store. Only apply if working in a convenience store is suitable for you.
As business runs 7 days a week so shifts can be varied- morning, evening, and weekends .
